CPS proudly introduces Toray Films

Founded in 1985, Toray Plastics (America), Inc.'s (TPA) capacity to bring polypropylene and polyester innovations to market has grown exponentially. To date, they have invested more than $650 million in the U.S. operation - increasing production capabilities by over 1000% in the past 20 years.

With the addition of new facilities in Europe and Southeast Asia, Toray now has a total of 8 full-scale film production sites. All plants are streamlined, technologically advanced, and equipped with the capability to add value beyond just film production. As a result, TPA can respond to market demands for flexibility, quality, innovation, and low-cost in a manner that is both timely and proficient.  Being resourceful and determined means anticipating demands - being proactive and not simply reactive. TPA is solving tomorrow's most challenging design issues today. Toray consistently reinvests over 5% of its annual corporate sales in ongoing research and development efforts. Over 15% of their entire workforce dedicated exclusively to R&D, TPA's capacity for introducing product innovations and breakthrough technology is unprecedented. To date, Toray Industries has applied for and obtained thousands of patents pertaining to plastics (resin and film).

At Toray, they turn things upside down and inside out. Always looking for a better way. And once found, they start the whole process over again. Because at Toray they believe that there's ALWAYS a better way. Combining thin-gauge technology, superior surface chemistry, in-house metallization capabilities, and an unprecedented commitment to R&D enables TPA to explore a broader range of perspectives and possibilities.
